The director has been amazed so far with the lush green color of the grass carpeting his playing and athletic fields. We are really hyped up and excited because we are trying something new.

Building Ecosystems

Lincoln landscaping originally started this athletic field turf management program 1 ½ years ago on the Roxbury High School N.J. Boys and Girls Athletic Fields. Athletic Playing Fields – an organic transition

Lincoln landscaping was contacted by the Elmwood Park Community to initiate and maintain an “organic” turf management program and upgrade the High School Varsity Soccer, Baseball and Softball fields. In simple terms, it is a concentrated liquid created by a process to increase the numbers of beneficial organisms as an organic approach to plant/soil care. Very simply, it is a liquid, nutritionally rich, well-balanced, organic supplement made by steeping aged compost in water.

Magic Weed Killer

Magic Weed Killer - no such luck. Sure chemicals work. They work really well. But their effect is not limited to the weed itself, regardless of marketing claims. There’s a downside. An herbicide will make a broadleaf “weed” disappear from your lawn, but at the expense of the soil and biology beneath (and maybe your evergreen trees, as we saw with imprelis).
