Spring has Sprung. A season of rebirth begins with the equinox. On this day, the sun shines directly on the equator, making the day and night almost equal. The equinox is the point at which the sun crosses the celestial equator from south to north. Spring is the season for new beginnings: farmers start planning their planting season, flowers and plants start to bloom, and many animals come out of hibernation.

As You see we have developed a wonderful turf system, on this home in Franklin lakes NJ. We received a call three years ago, after a chemical company had wreaked havoc, and huge burn spots were prevalent throughout out the entire lawn, caused by a highly toxic herbicide sprayed in high heat conditions.

Large Caliper Trees

Large Caliper trees are older and larger (typically they have a stem diameter of 2-inches or more when measured 6-inches above the soil level) than saplings, and require extra care when planting. Caliper trees are more prone to transplant shock and therefore there are specific and certain criteria that must be followed to succesfully transplant them.
