A wonderful achievement for Lincoln Landscaping. I am extremely proud to be a sustainable business in New Jersey. At Lincoln Landscaping we strive to save the environment within all our projects and undertakings. We are extremely proud of and honored to be able to maintain athletic playing fields throughout New Jersey upon which the younger generation can interact and grow. Our organic lawn and turf management programs are a staple of our firm in which we create eco-systems to renew the environment.

The Department of Environmental Protection is pleased to recognize your business for participating in the New Jersey Sustainable Business Registry. You clearly share the DEP’s commitment to sustainability, and I congratulate you on your hard work and your exceptional leadership and innovation.

The New Jersey Sustainable Business Registry is a joint partnership between the DEP and the New Jersey Small Business Development Centers. Since its incveption, 209 businesses have identified and implemented as least five environmental practices to achieve recognition in this program.

State of New Jersey Certificate of Sustainability and InnovationCollectively, this has resulted in the following savings:

  • $12.9 million
  • 98,767,138 gallons of water
  • 24,090,354 pounds of waste
  • 561,937 gallons of gasoline
  • 4,597,989 total miles traveled
  • 79,333,393 kilowatt hours; and
  • 52,700 metric tons of CO2 equivalent greenhouse gas reduction
