Edison Board of Education Center
Perennial Planting – Seasonal Color
At Lincoln Landscaping we specialize in “organic” municipal landscaping throughout New Jersey and are familiar with working in coordination with municipal departments on both large and small scale programs and schedules. We have partnered with many institutions and agencies to work on landscape design and build through maintenance of them. Maintaining communication throughout the duration of the project with department managers ensures that work is performed and projects accomplished in a timely manner and as specified.
When you need plants, flowers, mulch or other landscaping installed on a median, on the side of a road, around your city or government signs, or elsewhere, call us. We have worked on many of the properties in the area, and have made them look fantastic.
We handle all aspects of municipal landscaping in Bergen County, New Jersey and the surrounding municipals. No matter what type of government property you are looking to upgrade or maintain, our team of landscapers will do a professional job on it. We have handled scores of libraries, parks, medians, buildings and more for local governments and can make them look great.
The project below was completed at the Edison Board of Education Center in Edison, New Jersey. It was a perennial planting for season long color to improve and enhance the atmosphere as well as the appearance of the Center. After amending the soil with our organic soil amendments were properly graded it off for planting.
The long bed to the right we planted masses of liriope throughout, with their feathery leaf and spike light blue flower. Hollies anchor the corner with spendid shades of shiny green leaves. Between the masses of liriope we planted masses of rudbeckia (black-eyed susans) with their bright yellow blossoms. Annuals were planted in small grouping for color also.
The center bed was planted with sedum autumn joy complemented by Platycodon grandiflorus, commonly known as balloon flower. Mix in some dusty millers with shades of gray and Voila!
At the corner bed we grouped a mass of pervoskia – Russian Sage – with its fern like appearance and gorgeous blue plumes. These were accented with dusty millers and low growing annuals for effect.
