Healing the Earth That We Steward
An Ecological Landscape Alliance Seminar
“Advocating for responsible stewardship of land and natural resources
in landscaping and horticultural practices.”
Earlier this year I posted about my membership in the ELA. Through my association with this diverse group, a wealth of information and resources became available to me with which I could both implement and share with my clientele. One such event was the 2020 Season’s End Summit: Healing the Earth That We Steward Seminar which I attended. This seminar offered refreshing perspectives and inspiring discussions of the healing landscape tools that empower us to find solutions as we look ahead to future seasons of stewardship.
The Ecological Landscape Alliance (ELA) was founded in 1991. Our Mission entails that we advocate for environmentally responsible stewardship of land and natural resources in landscaping and horticultural practices of both professionals and the public. Through education, collaboration, and networking, ELA promotes the design, installation, and maintenance of landscapes that are guided by a knowledge of and respect for natural ecosystems.
What is the Ecological Landscape Alliance?
The Ecological Landscape Alliance (ELA) is a nonprofit, member-based organization made up of professionals, businesses and pro-active community members who believe in using landscape practices that are environmentally safe and beneficial.
